8th Annual Conference of Healthy Cities Association was held in October 3-4-5, 2012 under the hosting of Yalova Municipality. İzmir Metropolitan Municipality convened with Mayors, Councilors, Healthy Cities Project Coordinators and experts of Healthy Cities Association member cities attending the conference held with “Life in Healthy Urban Environments” theme.
As representative of İzmir Metropolitan Municipality, IMM Councilor Talat Karasu attended the conference. WHO European Region Office City Health Center Director, Dr. Agis Tsouros has given information to the related mayors about city health at the conference.
